Project With Love Halston Brief:
Students will illustrate and style a small capsule collection of original designs and hats inspired by Halston's original esthetic. Influenced by the Halston Archives, we would like the designers to develop, customize, style, reshape, and deconstruct the past, bringing it into a contemporary sustainable context.
With the application of new technology, the project will be overseen by Team Halston; Audrey, Lesley, Scott, and Brook

Team Halston offers a four part inspirational introduction to Halston -
The Man, early influences, business acumen, artistry of design and an overview of legacy and contemporary designs. There will be a mid semester review and process of elimination to determine the eight finalists. Applicants will be reviewed by a panel of five judges based on a five point rubric (Halston esthetic, sustainability, marketability, originality of design, and personal presentation video). The finalists will have the opportunity to show their creations on a runway ahead of the announcement of the winner. The monetary scholarship grant through the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation and the open box heart designed by Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co. will be presented by a fashion dignitary immediately following the student fashion show.
